Oh, this is the section to introduce yourself. Well, I was born & raised in Charlotte NC (I lived in Nevada for 1 year when I was 5 and I lived in Chicago for 1 year when I was 10 - otherwise, I have lived in Charlotte my whole life).
Recently, I moved to Rock Hill because I got a wonderful job as an IT administrator.
I am a nerd. I hack software for fun. But I am a "cool" nerd. I can fit in just about any crowd. I can be friends with anyone who is a half way decent person.
I am vegan, by the way. I was vegetarian from the beginning of 2000 (January) until last summer (June 2007). Then I went vegan. I just cannot imagine life any other way.
It amazes me when I stand in line at a restaurant to hear someone say "extra beef, add sour cream, and no tomatoes". This happened just last week (word for word). I was dumbfounded. Totally the opposite of my order.
Anyways, that is my biography in a nutshell. Am I nuts, or is it just everyone else?

Hey Josh :). Glad to see you made it over here, no one else from ARAC has come. I've also been promoting like crazy and yet, no members. :(. We'll see though, sometimes these things just take time. If you get a chance and you know anyone else (IRL or online) that would like this kind of forum, be sure to send them this way!
Am I nuts, or is it just everyone else? Just you. I kid, I kid!! I hate it when I see someone order something and all I can think is "Man, that's a heart attack waiting to happen..."
I'll send everyone I can this way... But don't feel down. This site has only been up for one day! You can't expect a flood of people in a day. Someday, this will be a great site with tons of members. Just don't forget me when that happens. I'm special, you know...
And the whole thing about someone ordering something full meat and dairy meal bugs me on a different level. It's like that person just counter-acted my vegan attempt for the day. I'm trying to make a difference in the world and the guy in front of me just screwed it up. He's not even trying to, but he did.
I gotta get a better hobby...
